SPUN Underground Explorer - Expedition Martinique

Ayla has been appointed as a SPUN Underground Explorer 2025 and received a research grant from SPUN, as well as a travel grant from The Swedish Royal Physiographic Society, to explore fungal biodiversity in her home island of Martinique. Together, we are planning an expedition to Martinique in November-December to sample soils and epiphytic roots across the diverse ecosystems of Martinique.
