Outreach

Besides being passionate about research, I believe that science outreach is very important, and I am continuously working on communicating the research of my lab as well as other research related to microbial ecology. Below are some links to outreach projects and media coverage that I have been involved in.

De underjordiskas karneval

As a part of our FORMAS grant "Windows to the underground" we have worked together with artists Janna Holmstedt and Malin Lobell to develop an interactive exhibit at Färgfabriken art gallery in Stockholm.

Pufendorf institute ASG: Interconnections within STEAM

From February 2026, I will participate in an Advanced Study Group at the Pufendorf institute at Lund University. We will explore how STEAM can be extended beyond basic pedagogy
to support interdisciplinary research and creative explorations, with a
particular focus on the relationship between the arts and the natural sciences.

Soil watching

I am part of a FORMAS-funded outreach project working with communicating the microscopic life in soils to the general public  through a youtube-series using soil chip footage, and artistic interpretations.

Vattenhallen: Jorden

I was part of developing a new museum exhibition at the Vattenhallen science center in Lund, focused on planet earth and climate changes throughout history.
