KU Leuven - Behavior across the tree of life

It was a pleasure to attend the workshop on Behavior across the tree of life at KU Leuven, organized by the Ramsey lab. We listened to inspirational talks in both biology and philosophy and discussed new ways of approaching comparisons of behaviors across organisms like protists, plants and fungi with animals.

A special thanks to Gianmaria Dani and Alejandro Fábregas-Tejeda for organizing the whole stay and meals for everyone as well as making us all feel very welcome in Leuven. I look forward to seeing what exciting new research will spark out of this workshop.
