Conference: ICOM 2026 in Cairns, Australia

This summer, I attended the International Conference on Mycorrhiza, which was held in Cairns, Australia. I presented our ongoing work studying mycelial dynamics and persistence across both mycorrhizal and non-mycorrhizal fungi using microfluidics in the session "New Approaches to Measuring Mycorrhizal Fungal Function". All in all, it was a really nice conference, and I both got inspired by other ongoing research and connected with old and new acquaintances in the field.

Since I managed to get my family to come along, we also spent a few weeks exploring the amazing nature in the surrounding area as well.
